round about and everywhere sunshine instead of snow
Yesterday I met with Roman for some breakfast at the Ukrainian cafe around the corner from where he lives. We were talking about things and and mostly I was talking about how the minds eye sees things much bigger than the two little beety things on our head do. The mind's eye is what sees things larger and in a more imaginative way. This is what gives us dreams, and it is in our dreams that the movie of our lives are really written. The main purpose I took away from our conversation yesterday is to make visible the invisible... We struggle as artists, poets, creators in general to educate and elucidate our viewers minds, and I believe it is about time that we break through consciousness and introduce the world to the mind's eye vision of the world. The previous post is a replica of an Assyrian God sculpture that was blown up to a really large scale. This is the kind of stuff that I would like to see more of...Lets bring back the God's of the ancient age and bring them into a 21st century context. Let's think larger than anyone can...Let's recreate ancient rituals...Let's open up the mind's eye, it's been closed for way to long. Perhaps my post may be a little too urgent, but I feel strongly that time is running out!!! Lets awake the human mind and see what we're all made of, It's a contagious feeling once creation spreads into a collaborative effort. I think that's what we're trying to do; Collaborative creation. Lets do it!!!
